this hymn was played at Lee's funeral service today. it took me a while to recognize it as the hymn that sister helen prejean sings to matthew poncelet right after his confession and right before his execution. i couldn't find that version on youtube, but I do like the one I did find.

it seemed that all of the employees from Bodega came to the service. i thought that was awesome. we partook in communion with the wealthy and the poor, today.

i think i will go have a drink at Bodega, for Lee, his friends, and his family.
