Steve Soderbergh's "The Girlfriend Experience"...



I'm not sure what my hope is for this film, but I do know that it was inspired by Bergman's "Cries & Whispers" - which is a devastating account of being female. I have always thought we need to see beneath the allure of pornography and prostitution - to understand the empty void that so often enraptures us. Interesting.
