Freedom. The opposite of capitalism.

1 While Jesus was in the Temple, he watched the rich people dropping their gifts in the collection box. 2 Then a poor widow came by and dropped in two small coins.[a]

3 “I tell you the truth,” Jesus said, “this poor widow has given more than all the rest of them. 4 For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she has.”

When you read that passage in context one wonders if Jesus is praising the woman for her generosity or condeming the religious leaders for manipulating a woman into giving her last dime.

Read Luke 20:45 through Luke 21:6

Take note how Jesus condemns those who "devour widows' houses" in verse 47 then looks up and says what you quoted and then the passage moves on to talk about the Temples destruction, which her offerings were going to support.

I think this passage could be used to critique the pastors who manipulate the vulnerable to give their last cent away so that they can build something big ministry for themselves.

I think textweek.com has some good articles on the Mark version of the story.
