Easter.
Began at 7:00am, with coffee, candles, and various "chant" - meditating on the sunrise and the resurrection. Dave Rowe joined Kelsie and I, and chose to read a portion of "Brothers Karamazov" aloud.
Kids got up sometime after 8:00am, and hunted for eggs, and found an easter basket.
At 9:00am, many friends joined us for breakfast. Fez brought "Captain Crunch: Berries".
At 9:45am, Matt Blinn presented a prepared Easter Liturgy, that was excellent and meaningful.
At 10:30am, our family attended the St. John's Episcopal service, in which our family participated in communion together, at the alter. Francis Xavier got a special blessing from Rev. Reat, to which he smiled. Maggie also got a nice blessing. Canaan partook of the body and blood with us.
At 1:15pm, a few friends joined me in watching "The Shawshank Redemption". We had a family dinner at 4:00pm, so I had to cut out a little early. However, I finished the last half hour, by myself, tonight.
Easter. Resurrection. "A warm place with no memory".
