Not to romanticize or demonize either community (AA or Amish), I do not believe there are better examples in America of communities that uphold and practice severe ideals of forgiveness, reconciliation, and acceptance.

However, they operate from somewhat opposing perspectives that affect their communities in very different ways.

Give it some thought.
