i have seen some of the biggest choirs and heard some of the most beautiful voices, but tonight was the most meaningful, the most symbolic that i have seen or heard. it was a choir made up of drug addicts, prostitutes, murderers, retards, disableds, co-dependents, personality-disordered, bunch of low-life, ugly, good for nothing pieces of shits - and not one of them could carry a damn tune, let alone harmonize.

but they were singing some song or another about Jesus and salvation.

and it finally made sense.
