While reflecting on this documentary, I realized that when any member of this administration said, "God Bless America", they were referring to themselves as God. So much so, that the neo-cons make Colin Powell seem like a saint among devils.

In the war against "terrorism", they indeed became terrorists - not just in principle - but in motive and action.

Since I became twenty years old, my various email accounts have been full of evangelical christian propaganda emails, in support of these neo-conservative oil men. How disturbing and twisted and evil.

I hope that as a "twentysomething", I (along with kelsie) have been able to offer valid alternatives that directed and still direct students and peers towards a path of hospitality and community, that is enlightening and power-less - and not into a black hole of hopelessness and post-modernism. we could not have done this without our intentional community being so committed to the radical idea of the euchrist in our homes, at our tables, together, to share our experiences and ideas - and then to allow something missional and purposeful to develop, as we pray for God's Will for "us", as the Church.

I hope that as a Christian Community in Columbus, OH, we can continue to pursue Holiness as a way of being set-apart from the quagmire, rather than trying to achieve a false holy perfection, which only keeps us chained to the quagmire. I hope that we can speak for the bottom drags of our society, as well as learn from them.

do it.

I have been thinking about posting about Bush's War for a few weeks, mainly because I wanted to talk to someone else who saw it. Amazing. Your comment about Powell was my opinion too. I thought Tenant came off looking pretty good too, at least for the first half of the doc. George W. Bush is a horrible executive. I kept thinking, "If he would have just stood up to these guys once this might have been avoidable." Then I'd see a picture of Cheney standing behind him and realize it was unavoidable. Sad.

Here's to downward mobility.

Yeah. Cheney is like Mephistopheles in "Faust". Those pictures of him behind GWB are ominous.
