Three films dealing with the quest to sustain, understand, and give life in the face of immortality and extinction. and no matter what you read, "28 Days Later" is not a "zombie" horror film. However, do not watch "28 Weeks Later" - it is nothing more than a bad horror flick. Anyways, these three films have broken new ground in the sci-fi/fantasy/horror world of filmmaking, continuing to give the genre(s) greater depth.



These three films present us with a look into the history of Ireland's fight for independence from Great Britian, and the ensuing internal devastation and destruction between Catholics and Protestants. These are three very well made films. I recommend watching them in this order...

I had to watch the first half of Bloody Sunday with the subtitles turned on...great movie...thanks for the recommendations, I had no previous desire to watch "28 Days Later". I'll check it out.
I had to have the subtitles on for all three Irish films. The "Wind That Shakes the Barley" was the most difficult to understand, actually. They throw some Gaelic in there too.
