We had four or five neighborhood kids come by, so we taught them, hands on, how to plant corn, eggplant, sunflowers, squash, etc. Our new friends, Adam and Kara, are from Alabama, and taught all of us, quite a bit. Adam is a Ph.d student at OSU for horticulture.

peak oil or peat oil?
I miss Columbus today... especially with pictures like these.

i don't know what peat oil is, exactly. haven't heard the term or phrase before.
peak oil - i was referring to what it looks like to live sustainably, as oil and food prices continue to rise.
