I really do believe that David Rawlings stole the show.
Yesterday, I went to visit an autistic child (18 years old, over six feet) at the high school ASD classroom. It is often the case, as soon as you walk in, one of these full grown adolescents with autism (if not several of them) want to greet you. This resulted in a big awkward hug from one good buddy, in which the teacher watched, and commented on how nice it was that he wanted to hug me. Just about the time she said the word "nice", he grabbed a handful of my beard and yanked really fucking hard. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit intervened, and he let go as fast as he grabbed. It was hardly awkward after that (I made sure to stand behind every table and chair in the classroom). Ouch.
I have found a real decent cafe right on the border of WV and KY. They have an authentic Mediterranean menu, and coffee that is roasted about 30 miles from here. They choose to play Big Band, Standard, and Jazz tunes, and I totally dig it.
I will be working here until June 29th.

Don't normally advertise, but would love your input in a discussion with my family on my blog. It's the post about reconciliation and GW.
And about your post, sweet getaway spot. I hope I get to visit it with you soon.
