Last weekend I heard the tail-end of Scott Simon’s commentary: Thoughts on the Life of the Amish on NPR regarding this senseless massacre. The ending taken from St. Paul: “ Let your gentleness be known to everyone. Then you will have the peace of God which is beyond understanding” caught my ear and I had to look it up, found it and listened to the audio several times so such a message of love and forgiveness would sink into my heart. Can understand why most of the world can’t comprehend such love and forgiveness for most don’t believe in a God of mercy and love!
Scott Simon’s would be another article to share except it seems to be available only as audio!
