Just finished the 10 hour BBC film version (1978) of Anna Karenina tonight.
After it was all done...I only imagined myself running into walls...jumping through glass...as if the only "true" response is of an extreme physical nature to truly identify with the inner struggle of such complex characters.
Very overwhelming...
