We were real nervous about it being able to fit in the back...hoping to not block cars in or out...and so we were thinking of all our options...but ultimately we decided everything should work out fine.
As the time approached, I decided I needed to use the restroom (nerves, coffee, and all)...which meant it wasn't coming out as clean as usual.
Well, the truck arrives while I am sitting there, and immediately kelsie is yelling for me to come out and take care of things...and I yell that I am using the bathroom. So she goes out and is quickly sent back in to tell me that there is a phone wire that is too low for the truck to pull in...!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
So while I am sitting there trying to get everything out and wipe, all I can think of is Doug kicking that damn soccer ball as high as he could over and over again until he knocked down the telephone wire.
Here is what I looked like in those days...

When the firemen came to fix the wire, they utilized a temporary solution, which left it about 15 feet lower than normal.
So after running onto campus to get a ladder, we utilized another temporary solution:

...and so our truck fit nicely in the back as we had hoped.

and we thank our friend Doug for adding to our excitement and our loose bowels.
His legacy lives on.
