Our little family is struggling today...not because of the heat and humidity...but because Kelsie had to have a CAT scan last night to check for blood clots (none found...all this is due to chest pressure and tightness).
So it seems that everything would be fine...except the iodine they pumped into Kelsie, for the CAT scan, meant that she could not breastfeed for 18 to 24 hours.
Our reaction:

Funny picture, huh. Well, Maggie has cried herself to sleep because she would rather "fast" than have an "unhealthy choice". She would make Eric Stetler proud...but he doesn't have to be here to listen to her cry either!!!
Kelsie is crying with her...and I am doing whatever I am told...but Kelsie is pumping out the bad milk, and she should be able to feed Maggie around 5:00pm.
You can pray for us now, but in a month, you will be able to pray with us...not a job yet, but there is work at home in Ironton to be done (Painting, cleaning, yard work, etc)...and we will be in Columbus on the weekends, and various times during the week, while I work on getting my MFT license, and continue looking for a job.
Thank God for Mike Redcay.

All of these wonderful photos, taken by Mike.
BTW, I am sure Kelsie will give a much more elaborate illustration of the pain on her journal.
Be well and smile.
