"Leaves of three, let it be."

Poison ivy (Toxicodendron radicans or Rhus toxicodendron), in the family Anacardiaceae, rhus is also called Sumac. The name is often spelled "Poison-ivy" to indicate that it is not a true Ivy or Hedera. It is a woody vine that is well-known for its ability to produce urushiol, a skin irritant that causes an itching rash for most people, technically known as urushiol-induced contact dermatitis. In extreme cases, corticosteroids can be used to treat rashes.

My forearms got dominated at work. It's awful, but better than working in air condition.

Fingernail polish--it always worked for me. Just cover the sores overnight, they get smothered (oxygen is what makes them itch), and in the morning when you peel it off, clean up any fluid that's left. Two days, tops.
